2024

In 2024, the company changed its legal status and name. AB “Higeja” took a new step and became UAB HI-LABS.

1998

1998 Hygea took a new step and began to produce professional cleaning and disinfection products for the meat, fish, poultry and dairy industries for washing and disinfection of production equipment.

1994

In 1994 the factory was reorganized and renamed “Hygeja”. Within a short period of time, “Higeja” became the leading manufacturer of household cleaners in Lithuania. The well-known brand “Mole” has become a generic term to describe products designed to unclog clogged sewer pipes.

1952

Our history began in 1952, when the “Kaunas Household Chemicals Factory” was founded in Kaunas, which specialized in the production of adhesives, toothpastes, varnishes, hair care products, candles, household cleaning products.

In 2024 the company reorganized once again and changed its name to HI-LABS. Local, modern and innovative company shifted focus towards a business-to-business (B2B) working model.

1998

In 1998 with a strong focus on the cleaning solutions "Higeja" started production of professional cleaning products for meat, fish, poultry and dairy industries to clean and disinfect their production equipment.

1994

In 1994 the factory underwent reorganization and was renamed to "Higeja". In a short time "Higeja" turned in a leading household cleaners' producer in Lithuania. The well-known brand „Kurmis" has become a generic term describing products for unclogging pipes.

Our history started in 1952 with a factory in Kaunas called „Kauno buitinės chemijos dirbinių gamykla". The factory specialized in the production of adhesives, toothpaste, varnish, hair care, candles, household cleaning products.
